Histopathological Features of Helicobacter Pylori Positive and Helicobacter Pylori Negative Gastritis in Endoscopic Biopsies

Background and Objectives: The intention of this study was to compare the histopathological features helicobacter pylori positive gastritis (HPPG) negative (HPNG) reported at Department Pathology, Sahiwal Medical College & Allied Hospitals, Sahiwal, Pakistan. Methodology: It a descriptive cross-sectional carried out Histopathology Section, College, Sahiwal. included all cases proven on histopathology endoscopic biopsies sent from Gastroenterology GHAQTH January 2020 December 2020. HPPG HPNG were sorted data analyzed with help SPSS version 20. Chi-square test used find p-value value p <0.05 taken as significant. Results: In 95 identified which 75.8% 24.2% HPNG. More than 90% had moderate severe chronic inflammation in compared only 17% difference significant statistically (p < 0.00001). About 98% showed activity 8.7% Lymphoid follicles seen 34.7% while feature absent (p= 0.00994). No variance found relation age group, gender, location biopsy intestinal metaplasia our study.
